Biocytogen Haimen Animal Center is located in Nantong, Jiangsu, which is about one hour driving distance from Shanghai. Since its operation in April 2016, the Haimen Animal Center has obtained the Laboratory Animal Production and Usage Licenses from the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province and the Animal Export permit from the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Jiangsu Province. The center also has obtained twice of the AAALAC International Accreditation in 2016 and 2019. The total size of the animal facility is about 43,000 m², with 120,000 rat/mouse cages, focusing on the laboratory animal large-scale breeding and sales. The center is able to supply various self-developed mouse lines, such as the highly immune-deficient mice (B-NDG^® and its derivatives) , single and double immune checkpoint humanized models (e.g. B-hPD-1 and B-hPD-1/B-hPDL-1 mice, etc.), cytokine (receptor) humanized mice, and hundreds of target-gene edited mice for new drug development.
